With a recent resignation, there is now an open seat on Village Board of Trustees.
Village Trustee Appointments
The Village Board of Trustees, per 24 V.S.A. § 961, (a) When a vacancy occurs in any Village office, the Village Board of Trustees shall forthwith by appointment in writing shall fill such vacancy until an election is had;
Village Board of Trustees plans to appoint an individual following these steps:
- Application deadline: Wednesday October 7th, 2026
- Potential Candidate interviews: Tuesday October 13th at 6:30PM at the Village Trustee regular meeting
- Potential appointments following interviews.
The individuals’ terms ending March 2027.
