In December 2024 the Town of Woodstock voted to purchase the Vondell Cobb property which is 357 acres for $1.6 million.
The Selectboard is exploring putting all or some of the land in conservation with the Vermont Land Trust. In return, the Town could receive a grant. The Selectboard wants to hear from the public and get your input before making this decision. The Municipal Manager and members of the Selectboard have scheduled a few public forums.
