With our first large snow fall on the way, here is a shortened version of the Village Ordinance regarding snow removal in the Village.
- Owner required to remove snow and ice from Village sidewalks
- All Village Sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice or maintained within 24 hours of such accumulation.
- Owners must clear snow and ice to render safe for pedestrian traffic at all sidewalk intersections and crosswalks with the Village Roads to a minimum width of three feet within twenty-four hours of such accumulation.
- If Village owner's portion is not cleared of snow or ice or maintained as required in section in which event the Village shall have the right to recover its actual expenses incurred for such snow and ice removal and/or maintenance.
