Village Businesses – April 6th Info Session on Tax Credits

The Town is hosting an information session on the Vermont’s Downtown and Village Center Tax Credit Program, presented by Caitlin Corkins. State income tax credits are available to buildings located within the state-designated village center for projects that improve building safety, attract new business, and create jobs. Funding supports general rehabilitation and code compliance work, as well as flood mitigation upgrades and exterior facade improvements. To be eligible, the property must be located within the State Designated Village Center area (not the same area as the Village).

Applications for the next round of tax credits will be announced soon and will be due July 1, 2026. Find out more by attending this info session:
