If you own a dog and are new to our town, you may not be aware of the state law and Woodstock Dog Ordinance that require you to license your dog(s)
or wolf hybrid(s).

It's very easy to do and it only takes about 10 minutes.
1. Just bring an up-to-date rabies vaccination from your vet for
EACH animal.
2. Come to the Town Clerk's Office on the first floor at Town
Hall (hours: M-F 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon & 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.)
and sign the license as the keeper of the animal(s).
3. There is a minimal licensing fee per dog ($8 - $11).
Licensing is for your dog's safety as well. The license makes your dog easy to return to you if it accidently gets loose or lost.
*The fine for an unlicensed dog is $50.00.
