DRIVEWAY ACCESS TO VILLAGE STREET OR TOWN ROAD PERMITS
Purpose: The purpose of this Ordinance is to regulate the establishment, design, repair, construction, improvement, modification of driveways to assure that the methods of repair, construction, improvement, modification and reconstruction practices used in any driveway will protect the safety and general welfare of persons in the Town/Village, promote the safety of the motoring public and emergency service personnel and equipment, and limit and regulate highway access by motor vehicles to any street or road in the Town or Village.
VILLAGE OR TOWN RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT
Purpose: A Right-of-Way Use Permit is required for any work to be accomplished in the public right-of-way (utility work, storm drainage, sidewalks, landscaping, private street lighting, fences or any other installation in the right-of-way) to prevent hazard
to the public and also damage during snow removal.
TOWN HIGHWAY ORDINANCE
The purpose of this ordinance is to establish municipal policy and practice on the maintenance and upgrading of existing town roads and to describe construction standards and procedure for accepting new roads into the town highway system.
